I have known and worked with actress Ayleen Augustine for two years. I cast Ayleen in several plays I directed for Lighted Window Presents, a new theatrical organization in Campbell, CA. I first saw Ayleen at a karaoke event. She sang well and she had a great stage presence and voice. I immediately cast her as one of the jurors in our production of 12 Angry Women. Next, I cast Ayleen in a supporting role in Ira Levin’s play Deathtrap as lawyer Porter Milgrim. After having been very pleased by her strong work in both plays, I cast Ayleen as Andrea, one of the two leads in My Dinner With Andrea. She was up to the daunting task of playing a character teetering on the verge of a nervous breakdown, while finding amazement in the discovery of self and a different perspective about the modern world. To say the play was demanding is an understatement. Ayleen achieved pure excellence in the role. I also cast Ayleen as several characters in our Lighted Window Presents production of The Twilight Zone. She played Helen Bemis in “Time Enough At Last”, the Doctor in “Eye Of The Beholder” and “Woman” in “Monsters Are Due On Maple Street”. Ayleen brings variety in voice and movement to every role. She is a natural. She has a powerful voice that is well varied and full of life. She researches every aspect of her acting work at hand. Whether it is acting for stage, screen or voiceover, Ayleen is excellent all around. I am proud to have worked with her and hope to work with her again in the near future.

Ayleen has a gorgeous lady voice...such a feminine, strong, dynamic and intelligent sound! Very connected and very charismatic with authority and softness combined. She is excellent with personal products and just about any commercial goods. Bold but feminine, kind, motherly, tender intelligent and controlled. Ayleen excels at narration! She has good pacing and consistent tone. She'll be great on documentary style narration, historic narration, corporate, etc. She is serious and professional while also flexible and playful. Her go-to has a directness but is not limited to that!
